Description

A flaw was found in OpenLDAP. This flaw allows an attacker who can send a malicious packet to be processed by OpenLDAP’s slapd server, to trigger an assertion failure. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.

How to fix

Upgrade to a fixed version: macOS 10.14.6, 10.15.7; Apple macOS 11.0.1; openldap 2.4.56. Check the vendor advisory for mitigations.
