Description

A Regular expression denial of service (ReDoS) flaw was found in Function interpolateName in interpolateName.js in webpack loader-utils 2.0.0 via the resourcePath variable in interpolateName.js.

• Webpack.Js Loader-Utils: from 1.0.0 before 1.4.2; from 2.0.0 before 2.0.4; from 3.0.0 before 3.2.1 — fixed in 1.4.2, 2.0.4, 3.2.1
• Npm Loader-Utils: from 1.0.0 before 1.4.2; from 2.0.0 before 2.0.4; from 3.0.0 before 3.2.1 — fixed in 1.4.2, 2.0.4, 3.2.1

How to fix

Upgrade to a fixed version: Webpack.Js Loader-Utils 1.4.2, 2.0.4, 3.2.1; Npm Loader-Utils 1.4.2, 2.0.4, 3.2.1. Check the vendor advisory for mitigations.
