- Severity: medium (CVSS 5.3 v4.0)
- Exploited in the wild: not listed in CISA KEV
- EPSS: 0.2% probability of exploitation in the next 30 days
- Public exploit or detection template: none known
- Published: 2026-10-22 · updated 2026-10-22
- Weakness: CWE-352
Description
A flaw in the cross-site request forgery (CSRF) prevention of KNIME Business Hub prior to version 1.19.0 allows an authenticated attacker to perform a CSRF attack with passive user interaction. This means the state of a resource could be changed without the user noticing. As a workaround, an API gateway for firewall in front of KNIME Business Hub could remove the X-Forwaded-For header from all incoming requests.
Affected products
- KNIME Business Hub: before 1.19.0 — fixed in 1.19.0
How to fix
Upgrade to a fixed version: KNIME Business Hub 1.19.0. Check the vendor advisory for mitigations.
