CVE-2026-59107: Shared SSH Authentication Key in vSolution Matrix File Sharing

Description

A security vulnerability has been identified in the vSolution Matrix file sharing feature. A shared cryptographic trust configuration could allow an attacker who obtains the matching private key to authenticate to an affected device via SSH as root. This vulnerability affects only devices configured as a vSolution Matrix main/master station with the file sharing feature enabled.

Summary

CVE-2026-59107 is a critical (CVSS 9.8) flaw in the vSolution Matrix file sharing feature, where a shared cryptographic trust configuration lets an attacker with the matching private key log in over SSH as root. Only devices configured as a vSolution Matrix main/master station with file sharing enabled are affected, including WolfVision Cynap and Cynap Core, plus Cynap Pro and Cynap Core Pro (fixed in 1.78a). It is not listed in CISA KEV, so no known active exploitation is reported. Update to the fixed firmware version 1.78a where applicable, and disable the file sharing feature on main/master stations until patched.
